Shop Policies

Deposits

Deposits are to be made directly to your artist via their personal Venmo, Paypal, Venue link, or in person with cash. Deposits are required for every new appointment at the artist’s discretion and range from $50 to half of the final price of the tattoo.

Your deposit ensures that your artist is paid for their time drawing your tattoo, communicating with you, and setting up the materials for your appointment. It is our shop policy that if you no-call, no show, your deposit is forfeited and you will need to submit another deposit if you wish to reschedule.

Late Arrivals

You are expected to be on time to your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, we reserve the right to forfeit your deposit and either choose not to reschedule, or charge a late fee of $80, which is the same as our shop minimum.

Numbing Cream

Michigan has recently passed legislation banning the use of numbing creams and sprays, and as such, we are no longer allowed to provide numbing. While numbing creams and sprays are still available for purchase online, the official Body Art guidelines from the State prohibit body art technicians from performing procedures on skin that “have been affected by any topical anesthetic, external analgesic or any other product that contains an anesthetic active ingredient”.

Using numbing cream can create issues with healing ranging from color loss, infections, skin irritation and other unpredictable risks. If you choose to use it against State regulations and our knowledge, we will not be held accountable for how your tattoo heals or any adverse affects you may experience.

If you do not adhere to these guidelines and your appointment needs to be rescheduled because of a poor skin reaction to your use of numbing cream against our advice, your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to set a new appointment.
